May 22 is the last day of school for Beech Grove City Schools, and Beech Grove High School will hold its graduation ceremony on May 24 at 10 a.m.
“This means more kids will be in the community, so please be on the lookout for kids on bikes and scooters. We hope everyone has a safe and healthy summer break,” Beech Grove Mayor James Coffman wrote in his monthly newsletter. “Congratulations to all of the graduates, along with their families and loved ones. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors!”

BGHS is open during the summer Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3:15 a.m., and closed week of June 30 to July 4. BGHS is also hosting a Back to School Night on Monday, July 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. Students must be re-enrolled by July 27th for transportation on the first day of school.
Registration is also now open for all returning and new students in grades K-12. Students new to the district will require 3 proofs of residency, immunization records, a birth certificate and parent/guardian ID. Questions can be directed to Steph Alford at 317-788-4481 ext 1045.
