Letters to the editor

Letters to the editor are responses written by members of the community to articles in The Collegiate Commons. These should be written by college students and be kept under 250 words, but The Collegiate Commons reserves the right to make exceptions to this rule, make edits for grammar and form, and ultimately, to reject the letter if it is determined to be in bad faith. The author must provide their full name, student email, class year, and major. They may request anonymity in publishing but The Collegiate Commons is under no obligation to grant it. These should be submitted in the regular “submit” form on our website, or emailed to thecollegiatecommons@gmail.com.

Additionally, community members are able to comment on individual articles, but The Collegiate Commons reserves the right to reject comments, especially those that appear to be spam, that are advertisements, that don’t include a full name, and that are otherwise determined to be in bad faith or unrelated to the article at hand.
