Martindale Brightwood residents are invited to Edna Martin Christian Center’s annual peace walk.
The event is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 12 at the Edna Martin Christian Center Leadership and Legacy Center, 2259 Ralston Ave.
This year’s theme is “Rooted in peace, growing in power.” The youth-led event is part of the youth engagement pillar of the Martindale Brightwood quality of life plan. The event will feature spoken word, music and dance performances.There will also be food, family-friendly activities and giveaways.
