The Collegiate Commons is back for Spring 2024

It’s been a long break, but The Collegiate Commons has been busy working on the first edition of the Spring 2024 semester (Vol. II – No. 1). Recently, we welcomed freshman Rachel Cooper as our new general editor, and junior Eric Reingardt as our economics editor. Our opinion editor, Marcus Bridgeman, also retired from his position. Applications are still open, and you are welcome to apply to become a contributor or an editor here. We also updated our About page (and our logo) to more fully reflect our history and mission, which can be found here. Make sure to follow us X for the latest updates, and read our work below:

Read the latest on campus:

College Republicans at Butler University’s right to free speech.
Afterwards, the university confirmed that right as well. Our
featured article for this edition provides more details.

In the city:

Nursing 16 million to increase enrollment. Nevertheless, the nonprofit
continues to struggle with filling new nursing positions.
