Karen Pence, wife of former Vice President and Indiana Governor Mike Pence, is a planned guest speaker at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Beech Grove’s Annual Ladies Luncheon on Sunday, May 4 at 11:30 a.m. The event costs $25 to attend for adults, $10 for those under 18 and is free for those under five years old.
Attendees will also receive a free copy of Pence’s book, When It’s Your Turn to Serve, limited to one per household.

Karen Pence
Pence, an elementary school teacher, grew up in Broad Ripple, attended Bishop Chatard High School and graduated from Butler University with a B.S. and M.S. in elementary education. She has taught at John Strange Elementary, Acton Elementary, Fall Creek Elementary and the Orchard School in Indianapolis.
Pence met her husband while playing guitar at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Indianapolis. They were ultimately married at St. Christopher Parish in Speedway in 1985, although both later became evangelical Christians.
