Why Some Say Trump Still Isn’t Conservative Enough

Donald Trump has been back in the White House for almost a year, and while many of his supporters are happy, some people on the far right say he still hasn’t gone far enough. They thought his second term would bring major changes—like cutting down the size of the government, removing more Washington insiders, and taking stronger action against big tech companies. But to them, many of those promises still haven’t been fully kept.

Even though Trump often uses bold language and strong opinions, he also likes to make deals and find middle ground when needed. That frustrates some of his hardest-core followers, who want him to take bigger steps and be tougher on issues like immigration, spending, and social policies. They feel he’s acting more like a regular politician now instead of a true outsider.

To many Americans, Trump still seems very conservative. But to the far-right crowd, he’s too cautious. They see him as the person who started their movement, but not the one who’s truly finishing it.
