Get free groceries and learn how to better navigate available housing and food resources at a free event Sept. 8 on the west side.
The Office of Public Health and Safety and the Wayne Township Trustee’s Office will host the event from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Wayne Township Government Center at 5401 W. Washington St.
It will include a panel discussion with housing and food assistance experts who will offer guidance on how to navigate available resources at the township, city and state levels.
Immediately after the discussion there will be a free food giveaway next door at Wayne Township Fire Station 82 from 4-6 p.m. No registration or identification will be required.
