Purdue Polytechnic Institute is adding a new multidisciplinary technology bachelor’s degree in Indianapolis.
The new degree program will combine technology, design, business and engineering to prepare students to work in fields such as cybersecurity and manufacturing. Students in the program will gain experience working with Indianapolis companies.
The pathway is designed to support students transferring into Purdue Polytechnic from schools such as Ivy Tech.
The major is accepting transfer students this fall. A spokesperson said the new technology program will be open to all incoming Purdue Polytechnic students in fall 2026.
