Storytelling by plants? Yep, that’s a thing.

The Garfield Park Conservatory will host Plant Parenthood, a free one-hour ambient jazz concert inspired by plant growth patterns.

The multi-sensory concert will also include snacks made from featured plants.

The event is a partnership between Clockwork Music and Garfield Park Conservatory, and part of the Spirit & Place Festival, a multi-day celebration of local communities.

Plant Parenthood concerts will be 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9 at the Garfield Park Conservatory, 2505 Conservatory Drive.

Advanced registration is encouraged.
